The extraordinary history of our community's struggle to overcome America's legacy of racial harms both symbolically and physically located at the heart of Adams Morgan. As a Friend of Adams Morgan Plaza, we ask Truist Bank, as well as federal and local officials to uplift our special history by improving the site of the former SunTrust Bank on the southwest corner of 18th St and Columbia Rd NW. We wish to see it remain a central community gathering space serving the residents of Adams Morgan and all visitors.
