4.4 Unless damage renders a hull, sail, spar or foil unusable during an event, only one hull, sail, mast, boom, sprit, daggerboard and rudder shall be used throughout the event. Any such change of equipment shall be authorised by the Technical Committee or in its absence by the Race Committee.

The form below is a declaration the equipment to be used during the event. The equipment being used may be checked by a class measurer or event equipment inspector on or off the water.

If you need to change the equipment you are planning to use after you have completed this form but prior to the event, please email technical@optimist.org.uk Once the event has started, please contact the Race Office regarding change of equipment
