The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) is now accepting applications for the Tourism Workforce & Sustainability (TWSP) program - a program designed to allow underrepresented groups of job seekers to recieve the living wage and allow businesses to develop worker sustainability and retention. For those that are looking to hire job seekers that dientify as Indigenous, A Three Fires Collaborative Quest Program, in collaboration with Indigenous Tourism Ontario (ITO) and Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC), is a tool used for the program that is designed to fill critical gaps within the industry and encourage recovery and growth of the province’s tourism workforce by bringing awareness of opportunities to potential Indigenous employees.  

To apply for the program as an employer, you must be willing to provide the living wage to each candidate that you hire past the funding we provide.

You will be eligible to receive a wage top-up that allows your employee to recieve a living wage salary based on your located region.
