2023-2024 KJ DANCE COMPETITIVE TRACK PROGRAM INTENT TO AUDITION FORM
All dancers who wish to be evaluated for placement and audition for one of the 2023 - 2024 competitive track programs at KJ Dance (KJ Edge, or PULSE company) must submit this form prior to attending a Summer Intensive at KJ. Please fill out the form below with the requested information regarding your audition intentions and intensive attendance commitment.

Placement for 2023 - 2024 and invitations into our competitive programs will be sent via email, following the first intensive they attend.  Participation in one of the KJ Dance North Texas Summer Dance Intensives is required for dancers who wish to be considered for our PULSE and the KJ EDGE training programs. All returning PULSE dancers are required to attend the June intensive. Any new dancer auditioning for EDGE or PULSE is encouraged to attend the June  intensive for placement.  If any current EDGE dancer or new dancer  auditioning is unable to attend the June intensive, you may attend the August Intensive to be evaluated for our competitive track program. All returning PULSE dancers and new dancers accepted into the competitive track program from the June intensive are required to attend the August intensive and choreography intensive to launch the new year.

Auditioning dancers will receive placement for the 2023 - 2024 dance season in one of the following programs:

  1. KJ EDGE Program
  2. PULSE Dance Company
  3. Recommendation for continued training in TWC classes

* If a dancer is offered placement in our KJ EDGE program, they will be invited to join us for Fall Classes beginning in August. KJ will place dancers invited into this program in the appropriate fall EDGE leveled classes. EDGE Team placement email will be sent on August 13th at 10pm, EDGE fall classes begin on August 14th. 

*If a dancer is offered placement within one of our PULSE companies from the June intensive, they will need to be available for master classes and choreography August 10th-13th.  Fall classes for PULSE company dancers will begin August 12st.  PULSE Company placements will be announced via email on August 13th at 10pm. 

*If a dancer is not accepted into the competitive program for 2023 - 2024, the KJ office will provide the dancer with perfect placement to continue their dance training in our Training With Confidence program.
