Please note that your trip type selections will impact the type of location and neighborhood your team will be placed in.

1. The Practical Outreach (Ages 13+)
A 1DayLA Practical Team Experience is a teenager, a college student, a mom, a dad, a young professional, a mentor or a business professional. Basically, if you’re breathing, there’s a part for you to play! It doesn’t take much, just the courage to step out of your comfort zone to assist someone in need. Throughout this week you’ll come face-to-face with many opportunities to love on the people of L.A. county. You will be participating in this such as community outreaches, Intermediate level assembly and construction, food drives, giveaways, and neighborhood clean up!

2. The Youth Outreach (Ages 8+)
Welcoming anyone and everyone with a heart for the youth of LA! We need your hearts, energy, and passion to invade the city of LA and empower the youth within each community. Throughout this week you will be participating in things such as neighborhood youth events, sports outreaches, skits, dramas, dances, giveaways, and neighborhood clean up!

3. The Sports Outreach (Ages 13+)
The Sports Outreach Experience is a unique opportunity for individuals, teams, or coaches with athletic experience to use their skills to reach and inspire young people across neighborhoods in L.A. county. Our Athletes will be setting up sports camps in neighborhoods across LA county for kids 7-17. They will set up drills, competitions and scrimmages for kids. Over the week, our hopes are that relationships will develop with young athletes and their families.

4. The Medical/Dental Outreach (Ages 18+)
Join a powerful team of medical professionals who will be helping people with little to no access to medical care. This is a great opportunity to love the city of Los Angeles. Each day, these teams will partner with local organizations to treat and educate families on healthy lifestyle habits. Medical Professionals licensed in California are welcomed to join the treatment team, while uncertified and out-of-state certified professionals will focus on basic services and education.

5. The Homeless Outreach (Ages 18+)
This specialized team will be used to reach many homeless communities in Los Angeles. This team will bring aid with the goal to open doors for real, meaningful relationships. Over the course of the week, our goal is to begin to see tangible change in the lives of the lost and broken through conversations of empowerment and encouragement. Please note that to join this team you must be 18+ with leadership & urban outreach experience. This role requires someone trained and prepared to handle very difficult situations and conversations.

6. The Media Outreach (Ages 18+)
The Media Outreach is an experience filled with roles for experienced photographers, videographers, editors and drone operators to use their talents and creativity to tell the story of 1DayLA. The media team will document the week, capture the stories of transformation at all of our outreach events and record the 1DayLA event at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
