Progryck:
Bow and arrows (or snowballs) are needed to play the game. You can bring your own, but a small reserve is provided at the game location.
DaybreakerMC:
The submission for the contest is the "Main Course" which is located above Y:64. Players may recognize the design style of the Main Course from my 2019 Parkour Res, but do not let that worry you. The 2019 res & course was lost to dereliction over a year ago. It discouraged me from designing more for a long time. Then a few weeks back I saw the minigame contest post and within moments my head was filled with ideas.
The Main Course is made up of 1,000 blocks split between four difficulties. Each difficulty varies in mechanics, introducing ladders, ice, panes, etc. There are risk versus reward shortcuts in each section, and checkpoints for Medium, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties. There are two ways to play the Main Course. The first, CASUAL, lets the player play at their own pace, allowing anything (pearls, gtp, etc) so enjoyment can be prioritized. The second, COMPETITIVE, has players play for the best time on each course with best times displayed on the leaderboard located on the residence (it's just speedrunning).
I created a short breakdown of my submission specifically for this contest! You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k95BWkYI034
I also have a forum post for the entire residence, which includes details on the Main Course. You can view that here: https://empireminecraft.com/threads/the-parkour-res-2-0.87103/
Thank you for giving me, and I imagine many others, this opportunity to explore our inspiration and creativity! Making my submission proved more ambitious than I originally envisioned (I seriously wondered if I'd even have it done in time), but it has been a lot of fun!
