BRAIN OSU Funding Application Form (OPEN)
Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience is a 501(c)(3) non-profit student organization at Ohio State committed to increasing awareness of brain injury, neurological diseases, and mental health. Every year, our premier event is a 5K/1 Mile Walk for Brain Injury Awareness. Thanks to all of our wonderful participants, fundraisers, donors, and sponsors - the funds that we raise at this event make it possible for us to make meaningful impact for brain injury survivors and their families across central Ohio.
To achieve our 5K's mission of increasing brain injury awareness and helping those in their journey to recovery, we are opening applications for potential funding collaborations. We have allocated a portion of our 5K proceeds to go towards projects that fit into the following categories:
1. Must demonstrate the ability to help the brain injury population (i.e. not available for single individuals) OR advance the aims of brain injury prevention/education.
2. Applications for funding must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the requested start date.
3. Programs that demonstrate the potential to benefit BRAIN undergraduate students will be given priority consideration.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and funds will be distributed as they are available. Please note that we reserve the right to reject proposals in full, or accept them with additional stipulations. You will receive a response 2-4 weeks after submission, regardless of if your proposal was accepted/denied. Upon proposal acceptance, our Executive Board will reach out to schedule a meeting with you to hash out any additional details before moving forward.
