Due to the ongoing pandemic, the LIVE music concerts are not being organized and for the next 12 months, the situation will remain like this. There are thousands of artists including folk and session musicians, who are totally dependent on LIVE concerts, and in the absence ofo LIVE concerts, they are not able to earn their livelihood. CRPIM has decided to extend a helping hand to these artists. We have approached a couple of corporate houses for donations for this purpose. We have received commitments from few companies and accordingly, CRPIM is inviting applications with the following details for extending financial/in-kind support to needy artists/music enthusiasts. This is part of an initiative of the Global Community of Indian Music (GCIM).
