Let’s come together and welcome our Fall 2022 incoming class on Friday, August 26, 2022.

UNLV Creates is the academic component of the UNLV Welcome Day event and will include an inspirational keynote. As part of the academic convocation, students will be asked to make a pledge to graduate from UNLV; thus signifying the beginning of their college career.  Come and be a part of this tradition.

Faculty/Staff: Please plan on arriving between 7:45 AM and 8:30 AM to the Strip View Pavilion, located on the west side of the Thomas & Mack Center. There will be a light breakfast available for you to enjoy. Faculty & staff will begin lining up by college, division, or unit at 8:30 AM for a formal processional into the Thomas and Mack Center. The UNLV Creates event will begin immediately following the processional and will end approximately at 10:30 AM.

Additional Note: We are excited to welcome the authors of the new UNLV Common Read (Tell Me Who You Are) for a post CREATES faculty & staff meet & greet and book signing event in the Stripview Pavilion from 10:45-11:15a.m. If you are interested in attending this meet & greet after the CREATES event, please add your name to the list provided at the link below.
