Participants must be active YCSA members and have paid the YCSA annual activity fee. Link to membership form.

Purebred animals must be registered as soon as possible and in the correct ownership to show. Refer to the link below if you have any questions regarding this. 

• Additional competitions besides conformation and showmanship include - judging, cattlmen's quiz, team grooming, graphic design/print marketing, photography and roundtable discussion. 
• It is mandatory to compete in judging and cattlemen's quiz; therefore, everyone is entered into those competitions. Judging will be one class with a placing card and oral reasons one-on-one with the judge.
• Graphic Design is for juniors, intermediates, and seniors. Please print it and bring it to registration at the show.
• Print Marketing is for novices only and will be completed at the show. Supplies will be provided.
• Photography must be submitted via email before the show; please send entries to ycsacoordinator@simmental.com with the subject line "Photography Entry." Please save files with the participant's name and age category: example - Sally Sue_Junior. Deadline is July 14th.
• If you'd like to enter Showmanship, Roundtable Discussion and/or Team Grooming, please select them in the registration form below and see the link below for details on the compeition. Note that Roundtable Disucssion is replacing Sales Talk this year.
• A mentorship program will be offered which is designed to help new and returning youth members to learn new skills by learning one on one with some of our older senior and intermediate members. You will have the option to sign up as a mentor or mentee below. If you sign up, you will need to provide additional information at this link.
