2021-22 Student Book Budget Application
Student book budget is a group of students who help make decisions about new books for the library.  During our meetings you will: create a survey, survey students throughout the school, analyze the results, set purchasing goals for your budget, meet with booksellers, and make a list of books to order for the library.

Our meetings will be in-person on some Tuesday and/or Thursdays during your recess (or other times your teacher decides on). We will meet some in September & October and again when the books come in (probably December). Are you willing to meet during a few of your recess times? *
Sometimes we take a walking field trip to Avid Bookshop to select some of our books. In order to participate in the walking field trip, you must attend our other meetings.   *
During book budget, you must make decisions about books that are for the whole school and not just for yourself. Can you make decisions for the whole school and not just pick books you love?
