McMullan Young Writers Workshop Registration 2023 (Middle School Students)
Do you love to write? The McMullan Young Writers Workshop (MYWW) provides promising young writers an opportunity to develop as creative writers under the instruction of talented writing instructors and to study literature under the guidance of college professors. Students learn from accomplished writers and teachers of poetry, drama, fiction, and creative non-fiction. The program also provides young writers with the opportunity to hear an established writer of note speak about his or her craft and to ask questions of that writer.

For the first time in MYWW history, we are offering a day program for middle school students! The middle school workshop will have its own faculty and programming tailored to the middle school cohort throughout the week. The workshops will take place on the campus of Millsaps College the week of July 17–21. Participation in the workshop is limited to students who are rising 8th and 9th graders.
