Balance gathers data and tells data-driven stories on leadership diversity of companies, movies, entertainment, sports, government and other entities, and the ideal candidate will be passionate about diversity, data and startups, nonprofits.
Intern Description:
The Tech Intern Role is responsible to design and implement frontend and backend software for a complex interactive web application, develop and manage backend databases, and apply programming skills to solving complex data management problems.
Time Commitment:
We require 10-15 hours per week and a minimum commitment of 3 months with a weekly virtual meeting, 12:00 pm(Pacific Time) on Thursday with the founders and 5-6 other meetings throughout the week with each team coordinator. Given that this is an unpaid internship, you would be provided with school credit, a letter of recommendation, references, networking and other career-growing assistance as needed.
