The artistic staff may hold call-backs for some roles for our upcoming productions. These roles may include, but are not limited to; Clara, Sugar Plum, Snow Queen, etc. We will let your dancer know via email, text, or in person if they will need to attend a casting call-back. The call-back will not be held on the same day. Call-backs will take place at the end of DDC PREP week.

Members auditioning for the 2022-2023 season are committing to both The Nutcracker AND the Spring production(s),  as well as Community Outreach Events. Senior and Senior Apprentice members are expected to participate in most events. Junior and Junior Apprentices are asked to participate in one event, but are encouraged to participate in more.

All dancers and families will be asked to participate in fundraising efforts throughout the season. All dancers and families will be required to assist in promoting Diamond Dance Company events and performances. ALL dancers/families will be asked to solicit sponsors, sell business ads, promote school shows increasing attendance at those group performances, and educate individuals and businesses about our non-profit organization in a positive, encouraging, and inclusive manner.  

ALL DANCERS MUST ATTEND BLACKOUT REHEARSAL DATES. We do understand that you/we have no control over illness or injury therefore the artistic staff may excuse dancers under these circumstances.  Please refer to the UPDATED DDC dancer/family contract and expectations for attendance policies.  Please notify us as soon as possible if you are aware of ANY conflicts. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. Dancer contracts will be available to dancers soon and must be signed and submitted on or before our first rehearsal.
