Make sure the machine is completely off. Let the motors completely died down.
Hold the metal button down to the right of the presser foot plate.
While holding down the button, turn the hand wheel towards you until you feel a snap.
Double check the needle will line up with the hole by using the hand wheel. If the needle can insert into the hole, you can use the machine again.
