The Holy Scriptures. 

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God- breathed, and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).

By immersion (Acts 8:36-39), which is the solemn and wonderful testimony of a believer showing forth his faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior, and his union with him in death to sin and resurrection to a new life.

In Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Which is freely given to all who confess with their mouth, disassociate from the world, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, thereby receiving the power to become the sons and daughters of God, and to be witnesses for Him.

John 1:12 & Acts 1:8

That our salvation is not by our works, or earthly wisdom

Lest any should boast: but as we yield ourselves, by faith in the Word of God, to the work of God on the inside, that we will work because our heads have been lifted, and because we are his children.

Ephesians 2:8-10

That after we are converted, we strengthen our brethren

By keeping the unity of the Faith.

Luke 22:32 & Ephesians 4:11-13

That even as we yield to the Holy Spirit (Who gives us power), that we are being trained thereby unto holiness

Which stabilizes and impacts our families, our jobs and our communities.

In the operation of the spiritual gifts

As recorded in the book of Ephesians, 1 Corinthians and Romans, and operating them in accordance to the Word of God.

There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each of these three persons is equal in every divine perfection, and together they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.

Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, fully God, eternally begotten of the Father, not created. He became fully human, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and made His dwelling among people. He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary atoning death, resurrected in a physical body, and ascended into heaven. (Jesus Christ is LORD, the Head of the Church above all.) He intercedes for his people and will make a visible return to earth.

Human Sexuality and Marriage

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between one man and one woman. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance.

(Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1: 26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4).

We believe that the biblical definition of marriage is the covenantal joining of one man and one woman.

(Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23).
