The Source LGBT+ Center is looking for 7- 10 LGBT+ and allied youth ages 15 to 22 that are wanting to continue to make change and help the Youth Program become what it should be for their peers and community. This opportunity will give you a direct hand in making decisions and amplify the voice of you and your peers.

The following application includes questions that will be used to assess your comfort and commitment to this Board. This committee will take up time and effort, however, you will NOT be doing this alone. There will be an advisor every step of the way to guide the youth-led Board.

This Board will have terms of 6 months. The meetings will be held 1 time a month, for a total of 6 meetings. After the first term you can reapply.
Meetings will be held the 2nd Wednesday of the Month from 5pm-6pm.

Eligibility:
The Youth Summit Committee is open to youth and students age 15-22 that live in areas located in Tulare and Kings County. Those interested should:

Demonstrate leadership in school and/or community activities
Express an interest in learning more about creating change in their world
Be open-minded and willing to work with their peers
Commit to 100% participation in all committee meetings and activities
