Play Flute for the Saturday April 27th Fire Show @ BrightFire Music & Arts Festival!

Fri & Sat April 26-27. Gates open to the public at 4pm on Fri. April 26, and again on 10am Sat. April 27.
We'll be at GreenLife Family Farm, located at 281 Odell School Rd, Concord, NC 28027.
(about 8 min N of Concord Mills)

Performance: Saturday, April 27 at sundown (8:30pm) at GreenLife Family Farm

Rehearsal(s): (attend one or two)
Tues April 23, 7:00-8:30PM at Southern Park Music School
AND/OR Thurs April 25, 7:00-8:30PM on-site at GreenLife Family Farm

MUSIC: 🔥 New music that is currently being composed for the fire ceremony. It will be played along with an accompaniment (track). Intermediate to advanced level, with room for improvisation / embellishment. You will receive the music by April 16.

DRESS: please wear all-white for the performance. Dresses, pants, skirts are acceptable. Flow-y fabrics are welcome.

We appreciate your partnership in bringing art to the community & we would like to offer you two complimentary 2-Day General Admission tickets in exchange for your service so that you can also enjoy the event. Please plan to carpool, parking may be tight. Camping not included, must be purchased separately.

We want to do some basic walking and playing in the green figure 8 around the bonfire and a fire performer. The music will lend itself to patterns that will be easy to memorize and reflect/echo the music. We want this to be easily executable with a track, immersing the audience, and add a really cool ambiance and sound to the overall performance! The fire performers are also creating special choreography to go along with what we're doing. Everyone's very excited!
