2023-2024 Parent Candidates:
Elnaz Nazmi:
My name is Elnaz Nazmi and I am the mother of Dante Castaneda (in 2nd grade) and Maya Castaneda (now a 6th grader at Eich after 7 years at Sargeant). I have been active with Sargeant for the past 7 years, including 2 years on Site Council and about 4 years as an Art Docent (give or take some time during Covid). I work full time as a physical therapist and enjoy serving Sargeant when I can make myself available. I would be happy to lend my experience and perspective to Site Council again as a parent volunteer.
Emily Prewitt:
Hello, my name is Emily Prewitt and I would like to be a parent member of the Sargent Elementary School Site Council. I am a step-parent to a student in first grade as well as a School Psychologist. As a School Psychologist, I see the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all to thrive in. As a step-parent, I have learned the values of patience and understanding. Together I feel as if these roles have helped shape my overall commitment to fostering a school community where everyone feels valued and heard. I believe that the best way to ensure that everyone has a positive school experience is to have open and collaborative communication with all stakeholders.
