We are excited for embracing these High Holydays with our great Jewish creativity -- for community, involvement, health and JOY. This is an INVITATION to participate with having HONORS and offer your skills or spiritual interests during services and events when we Gather Together ~ "Hakhel". Beit Ahavah High Holydays will once again be hybrid with lots of participation from our community members -- IN-PERSON outdoor services will be led by Rabbi Riqi Kosovske and Singers in the BA backyard under a festive tent (or in the Sanctuary if raining), and we will also LIVESTREAM to Zoom.

Four ways to be involved: HONORS (below), VOLUNTEER & Holy Shlepping (sign up form is on on website), ATTEND Services and Events (and invite your friends!), and GIVING from the HEART (when you register to attend). Please fill out below for HONORS!

2) What honors are you interested in? Please check those that you would consider. *

Read a poem, reading, kavanah (intention) or prayer at a service (Rabbi will assign or you can suggest.)

Chant or read Torah or Haftarah for RH or YK morning services (a new portion or one you have learned in the past)

"Hagbah and Galilah" - Lift and/or dress the Torah at the end of the Torah service.

Carry the Torah in the processional.

Lead candle-lighting as individual, household, group of friends or family, on RH or YK evening.

Lead small outdoor Tashlich ritual at a river/pond, TUESDAY afternoon, 9/27 (2ND DAY RH)

Share a personal "Spiritual Journey" during YK Afternoon Healing Service.

Blow Shofar during Rosh Hashanah morning service and/or end of Yom Kippur.

Offer a song (solo or harmony during services or pre-recorded video).

Be on the planning team for one of the services.

Play Kol Nidrei on your stringed instrument (cello, violin, viola...)

Play a musical instrument interlude during the morning or afternoon service breaks or during the Break-Fast.

Lead afternoon Yom Kippur offering (Jewish yoga, storytelling, text study, discussion, etc.).

Lead Teen & Tween holiday program.

Read Yizkor names aloud during Yizkor Memorial Service.
