All students in 4th or 5th grade who might be interested in learning an instrument are welcome to sign up for after school band.
Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays
Cost: $300 (Payments can be made at the school office or by arrangement with Jennifer Roben)
Location: School Gymnasium
Time: 3:15 - 3:45 (After carpool)
Parents can pick up students directly at the gymnasium at 3:45 pm.
Band will begin on Monday, September 26th
Students may choose from the following instruments: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, electric bass, and snare drum.
Sheet music is provided by Ms. Stadulis. Students will need to get
Essential Elements Book 1 for their preferred instrument – many music stores will include the book as part of a rental
package for young musicians. Instruments can be rented from
several area music stores, including Kennelly Keys Music, Ted
Brown Music, Music & Arts, Metropolitan Music, and Leading
Tone.
(Note: Students in 6th - 8th are offered band as an elective on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sign ups for this are presented to the students in class)
