This is an application to become a Climate Champion with Save Our Shropshire CIO. We are committed to bringing about behaviour change in peoples' lifestyles across Shropshire - and elsewhere - in the aim to help prevent the worst effects of climate change.
We want to identify people who are equally passionate and enthusiastic, who will work within their communities to arrange activities, events and projects that will support the aim of reducing their community's carbon footprint through behaviour change
We will provide the education and training to help you know more about what to do and deliver courses. So you do not have to be a climate geek to be a champion. Just be passionately concerned about the world and what it will be like to live there in 2040 for children and grandchildren.
You need to be outgoing, social, engaging, organised and infectious with enthusiasm for ensuring we do our bit to make sure the planet is a pleasant place in which to live for centuries into the future.
