Music Performance Anxiety in Collaborative Partnerships Survey
Informed Consent Statement: This is a survey for pianists who regularly perform as a collaborative pianist in duos, trios, quartets, and other chamber groups or ensembles. It explores the idea of your personal experience with music performance anxiety while collaborating as well as working with other professional musicians who may experience performance anxiety during your performances. There are some questions about your personal experiences with anxiety. Participation in this survey is voluntary and you may opt out at any time. Please feel free to explain in detail as much or as little as you prefer. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All information collected will remain anonymous. Once the data is collected, it will be analyzed for pedagogical purposes to be disseminated via presentations and articles to benefit the field of piano pedagogy and performance work. Data presented will be anonymous and presented as a whole. Data will be collected and kept for 7-10 years. This is a part of a long-term research project that will have multiple phases.
