Fill out this application if you are interested in subscribing to the Black Beauty Near You Braider Directory as a braider, for a year!*

The BBNY Braider Directory consists of braiders from all over the United States and will be shared with Black Beauty Near You's audience that mostly consists of young Black women who attend college at a PWI (Predominantly White Institution).

*Acceptance is not guaranteed, so please make sure you at least meet the following criteria:
  • Your business has a booking site with clear details and no rules pertaining to discrimination.
  • The information you give in this application makes it easy to find your business.
  • Social media account(s) provided is up to date.
  • Social media account(s) is not private.
  • The content on your social media accounts and website is representative of the braided hairstyles you do.

BBNY Braider Directory Terms and Conditions

If your application is approved, you will be sent an invoice of $20.99, due on receipt, to confirm your year-long subscription to the BBNY Braider Directory.

The process will take at most 3-4 weeks, if approved. Throughout those weeks, BBNY will be:

  • [Week 1] Going through your application.
  • If approved:
    • [Week 2] Sending and receiving your invoice payment. Your invoice will expire a week from the day it is sent to you. After it expires, your approval will be revoked and you will have to reapply.
    • [Week 3-4] Adding you to the directory. *Your subscription begins on the date the invoice is paid. So, you can expect your name to be on the BBNY Braider Directory no later than 2 weeks after you pay your invoice.

During your year subscription, you can email me at any time (at bbnybusiness@gmail.com) to update your location and/or contact information as things change!

After your subscription is up, your business will be removed from the BBNY Braider Directory and you can apply again to be re-added!

DISCLAIMER:

If I receive 3 or more direct complaints about your business and/or see improper business conduction, you will be removed from the BBNY Braider Directory with NO refund. You will receive a warning after the first and second violation so you aren’t blindsided. This is done to maintain a safe and reliable space for BBNY’s audience and your future clients.

Invoice payments are non-refundable.

If any disputes are made by you and/or your business after paying your invoice, your application, and any other application you send in, will no longer be considered. Resulting in you not being added to the directory and/or having access to any other BBNY incentives in the future.
