First Unitarian Church of Toledo is partnering with the YWCA to offer Dialogue to Change at our church. In order to have equitable communities, we need to face racism head-on. Come experience an engaging and interactive in-person training designed for diverse groups of 10-20 participants. Explore the profound impact of bias and systemic racism through facilitated exercises and discussions. Two half-day sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, March 5 and 7, from 10 am to 2:30 pm in Fellowship Hall; participants should attend both sessions. Alexii Collins, Racial Justice Coordinator at the YWCA NW Ohio, will be leading the event and providing the updated program and materials. We will be widening our circle and inviting those outside of church as well to ensure a diverse group of participants. Lunch will be provided. Participation is voluntary for those open to a respectful dialogue for change. Look for upcoming registration. This program is sponsored by TEALL funds from the First Unitarian Church.
