Priorities of young people for the HLM on HIV & AIDS Survey
The United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting (HLM) on HIV and AIDS will take place between 8 and 10 June 2021. The HLM is a crucial moment for the HIV response as governments from around the world will review the progress made in reducing the impact of HIV since the last HLM in 2016 and adopt a new Political Declaration to guide the future direction and targets of the response.

The HLM provides a unique opportunity for young people to advocate for the inclusion of their priorities to end AIDS in the new Political Declaration.

With the aim of collecting young people’s opinions for the next HLM, The PACT, the ATC, Y+ Global, Youth RISE, Youth LEAD, Youth Stop AIDS, and the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights have developed this survey for young people 10-30 years old, to ensure a consultative process by and for adolescents and youth globally.

The responses to this survey are confidential and will serve to design and implement a collaborative and consultative advocacy campaign led by youth-led organisations working on HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to ensure that young people’s priorities and demands are included in the 2021 Political Declaration on HIV and AIDS.

The closing date to submit your responses is 11 April 2021. This survey should take 10 minutes to complete.
