三、報名方式
● 報名費＼30 美金 (約新台幣900元），報名完成後恕不接受退費。
● 報名時間＼即日起至台灣時間 2024 年 5 月 31 日 23:59 截止。
● 參賽者需同時於本Google表單提供作品資訊內容，若否則視同無效報名。
四、報名資格● 完成期限＼需為 2023 年 1 月 1 日至 2024 年 6 月 15 日（報名截止日）之間完成。
● 獎勵類型＼不限類型，鼓勵敘事內容有創見，並與所搭配之沈浸式技術相互輝映之作。作品運用或融合包括但不限於：虛擬實境（VR）、擴增實境（AR）、混合實境（MR）、VR360、多媒體裝置等既有或新創技
術。階段性成品（work-in-progress）亦屬有效投件。
● 重複遞件＼既往投寄作品不得以相同版本報名本競賽，亦不得以替換片名之方式重複報名。
● 作品完成度 階段性成品(works-in-progress)＼ 若無法於
2024年6月15日前遞交完整作品，主辦單位將有權取消其參賽資格。
● 技術規範＼競賽評審作業主辦單位所支應之硬體設備與技術資訊詳如附件1，如參賽者欲以超出主辦單位技術支援之設備參與評審，參賽者將需負擔相關衍伸費用。 ● 語言規範＼參賽作品須提供英文字幕或英語配音版本報名參賽。
● 首映資格＼無特定限制，惟世界首映、國際首映與亞洲首映作品具優先考量資格。

1. Goals
The Kaohsiung Film Festival aims to break down genre limitations and explore the artistic
merits of independent short films. We are looking for projects that are worthy of recognition, ones that combine an independent spirit with meaningful narrative content and a high degree of applied technological integration. These films will be showcased during the Kaohsiung Film Festival, and will compete for the highest honor of
the First Prize.
2. Festival Dates
The 24th Kaohsiung Film Festival is scheduled to be held in October.
3. Registration
- Registration Fee $30 USD ( Once the registration is completed, no
refunds will be accepted.)
- Registration Period From now until May 31st 2024 23:59 GMT+8.
- Please go to the official【 FilmFreeway 】website to register and pay the registration fee.
- Participants must also provide information about their project on this official
【Google form】at the same time. If this information is not filled out, the registration will be considered invalid.
4. Eligibility- Date of Completion | Only works completed between January 1st 2023 and June 15h 2024 (the registration deadline) are eligible for submission.
- Encouraged Submissions | Regardless of genre, we encourage works in which innovative narratives and immersive technologies are used in conjunction to enrich each other and the overall experience. Technologies applied (include but are not limited to): Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), VR360, multimedia devices and other pre-existing or innovative technologies. Works-in-progress are also eligible for submission.
- Duplicate entries Identical versions of previously submitted projects cannot be submitted to this competition, nor can they be re-registered by changing the project title.
- Completion status If a work-in-progress cannot be submitted as a complete work by June 15th 2024, the organizer reserves the right to cancel its eligibility for participation.
- Technical Specifications The hardware equipment and technical support provided by the organizers for the competition judging process are detailed in Appendix 1. In the event that participants wish their project to be shown to the judges using equipment that exceeds these technical capabilities, those participants will be responsible for any additional costs that arise.
- Language Restrictions Entries must provide English subtitles or English-dubbed versions of their project to register for the competition.
- Premiere Status There are no specific restrictions on premiere status in this competition. However, works that are eligible for World premiere, International premiere and Asia premiere status at the 2024 Kaohsiung Film Festival will be given priority.
