SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce Member Expression of Interest
USAID and UNICEF invite you to join them on a new taskforce working on SEL and soft skills measurement. The expected time commitment for members is approximately 5 hours per quarter and the terms of reference would include:

  • Contributing broad institutional perspective and experience to the SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce
  • Serving as a bridge between home institution and the SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce, i.e., gather resources, information, and perspectives from colleagues for sharing during SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce meetings, and report and share back resources from SEL Measurement Taskforce activities with colleagues
  • Attending and participating actively in SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce sessions, including SEL Visioning activity, Theory of Change session, Presentation Sessions, and Reflection and Stocktaking session
  • Responding to a membership survey and seeking out information as needed to successfully complete the exercise
  • Making time for SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce activities and being responsive to inquiries as requested

Levels of Commitment
While the Taskforce hopes that members will engage to the fullest, it recognizes that various factors contribute to individuals’ availability and interest. The Taskforce has established three options for member engagement.
  • Leading Member: You plan to participate in all calls and contribute to core deliverables (i.e. visioning activity, theory of change, member survey), and are prepared to lead/support the development of products for the sector. You understand this will require additional level of effort and you are open to joining sub-working group (as needed) to develop these global goods. This may also involve helping to disseminate these goods through webinars, writing blogs, etc.
  • Active Member: You intend to participate in calls and contribute to core deliverables (i.e. visioning activity, theory of change, member survey), but you don't intend to support additional product development or join any sub-working groups tasked with developing those products.
  • Passive Member: You would like to be on the mailing list to hear updates from the SEL/SS Measurement Taskforce and receive resources/products but do not anticipate regularly attending calls or supporting product development.
