The Lockdown Economy is a global non-profit initiative started in May 2020 to help small businesses and self-employed professionals to overcome the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic and reactivate the economy. It is registered by the United Nations as an Acceleration Action for the Sustainable Development Goals. You can learn more on our website
https://lockdowneconomy.orgAny self-employed professional or micro- and small- business (less than 30 employees) owner can share their story on the Lockdown Economy. The video-interview is remote. It takes 15-20 minutes. It is either streamed live or recorded by Zoom. The interview host will ask you about your business, how the pandemic affected it, and how you are dealing with it. It is also a good opportunity to share what you are working on and get more visibility. Our volunteers will be promoting the interview on social media.
You can do the interview in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, German and Arabic.
We are a non-profit initiative with no budget, and the interviews are done by volunteers. We cannot promise to host your interview immediately but we will do our best to do it shortly. If you would also like to help us host the interviews - please write to
volunteer@altercontacts.orgWe will be grateful if you would like to support us with a donation (it is not mandatory, we will still be happy to interview you).
