Complete the Financial Aid Book Advance Application below to determine if you are eligible to use anticipated excess financial aid to order textbooks before the aid is disbursed. Book advance requests can not be processed until all Financial Aid requirements have been completed, processed, and aid has been approved. Book advances are for UAS courses only, and cannot be used for UAA or UAF courses.

1. Complete the information below, select which campus(es) your classes are taking place at, and submit.
2. If all of your financial aid forms are in order and your aid has been awarded, UAS Student Accounts will have MBS Direct generate an authorization.
3. When your authorization is available, MBS Direct will send you e-mail notification to the e-mail address you provided on the information below.
4. Book advance requests may take 1 week to process. If it has been more than a week since the request was submitted, inquiries can be made via the phone or email listed below.
5. Upon receiving the e-mail notification, you may order your books on the MBS Direct website.
