-History of drug prohibition and how it is deeply rooted in racism/colonialism
-What is harm reduction? Harm reduction services in the community
-Overdose statistics in Hamilton 
-Stigma and checking our biases
-What is naloxone? Where to get naloxone? Why should you carry naloxone?
-How to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose with naloxone (nasal and injectable) 
-How to get more involved in the community
-Safer partying tips 
-Good Samaritan Law

We are solely a volunteer led and run community-based organization. We facilitate our workshops at a "pay what you can" rate anywhere from $0 to $1000. Our preferred method is e-transfer to sopenhamilton@gmail.com and/or cheque. Please indicate payment below. We are not a registered charitable organization, so your gift to SOPEN is not tax deductible, and we cannot issue tax receipts for your contributions.
