Hello world. So our podcast has a history of doing what little we can with our platform to help give free shoutouts to small AAPI owned businesses. It was a bit of a hectic mess in the past because we had to individually screen each person that was interested. Hopefully this form makes it a bit easier to get thru all the administrative hurdles.
If you are interested in a free shoutout on the podcast and our socials, please fill out the form before and we will reach out to you to get everything coordinated. PLEASE excuse any delays because the last time we opened this up, I (lingjie) was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of responses lol. But I will try my best to get to everyone as soon as a I can. This offer is opened ended, so unless we cancel the podcast then we'll continue to do this.
Also, we're trying to incorporate more of a person touch with the shoutout because we think it connects with listeners better. So we're asking all interested businesses to consider sending in a short 60sec ish video to pitch the business. We will post it somewhere on our socials and more importantly, we'll play it in our podcast feed (both video and audio). Videos to be discussed after we reach back out to you. No need to include the video as part of this initial form.
We're also open to any other ideas so feel free to shoot them our way.
PS: excuse any typos. I'm writing this form in my hot stuffy office because I refuse to turn on the AC when it's just me in the house.
