KUMA is organising a Health Awareness Day on the 28th of May, a community outreach day providing the Korean community information on common health conditions and advice on using the NHS services.
We are looking for volunteers for:
1. Short presentations (5-10mins, to present in Korean) on various health conditions (a few suggested topics are Dementia, MI/Stroke, HTN/DM but feel free to suggest any common conditions that you would like to present). We need 3 speakers for this.
2. Booths where guests will be free to visit for e.g. BP/glucose/otoscope checks/how to use the NHS app. (A short induction/training will be given prior to the event)
3. General (setting up, greeting guests etc)
This is a great opportunity to network with other doctors and give back to the Korean community in the UK. Free lunch will also be provided to those who come! We are also hoping to have dinner with all other volunteers after the event!
Certificate of participation will be provided.
