Black Anglicans of Canada Membership Registration Form
Our Declaration: We as people of African Descent are commissioned and called to be ambassadors of reconciliation. We are called to create opportunities and space for courage building, healing, fellowship and empowerment. This special calling is both a reminder and a challenge to ourselves and to the whole church that we are no longer destined to just obey, suffer and witness; but to disrupt, heal and lead.

Vision: We envision the Anglican Church of Canada as a faith community that values and respects the rich diversity of Black People who are empowered to enjoy equitable participation, representation and a sense of belongingness (inclusion) in the mission of Jesus Christ and in the full life of the Anglican Church.

Mission: Our mission is to increase the participation, representation, empowerment and belongingness of Black People in lay and ordained leadership roles in the full life of the Anglican Church of Canada, and to develop partnerships with Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) and other oppressed peoples.

Definition of Black:
Black is the designation for people who are of full or partial African descent.

Membership: Membership in this ministry is open to people of African descent (Black people), allies, and churches, organizations and businesses who support the vision and mission of Black Anglicans of Canada. We believe our members are called to be inclusive, welcoming, and respectful of the dignity of every human being, as part of living out our faith in the world and our baptismal covenant.
