Amids recent pushbacks against the Istanbul Convention in Turkey and Poland, the feminist network Essential Autonomous Struggles Transnational (EAST) is holding a public assembly on April 11th, 2021, 18-20 CET. The goal of the assembly is to discuss the ongoing situation with feminist, LGBTQIA+, workers and migrants organisations and individuals from Central and Eastern Europe and beyond. We want to both show solidarity with those struggling in Poland and Turkey against the patriarchal advancements of the respective governments, but also discuss more broadly possible common strategies of struggle against patriarchal violence.
