Public Input: District's Plan for ARP ESSER and ARP IDEA Grant Funds
As a recipient of federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds, the Minerva Local School District (MLSD) is required to seek meaningful public input from its community and other stakeholders on how these funds can best be used to address the many impacts of COVID-19 on pre-K through 12 education. We would like to invite you to lend your voice to this process. The feedback you provide will help inform the development of a written plan, which will then be presented to the Superintendent and Board of Education.

To date, MLSD has utilized ESSER funds to accomplish the following:
1)  Investing in resources to implement CDC's K-12 operational strategy for in-person learning to keep educators, staff, and students safe; improving ventilation; and purchasing personal protective equipment (PPE).
2)  Implementing evidence-based strategies to meet the social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs of students hit hardest by the pandemic.
3)  Funding crucial summer and other extended learning and enrichment programs.
