Enrolment in the Scarlet Alliance National Peer Educator Online Training Program is accessible to members of Scarlet Alliance, Australian Sex Workers Association. To become a member of Scarlet Alliance, please complete and submit the online membership application form. 
After completing and submitting  this form the Scarlet Alliance National Training Program coordinator will contact you. If you are not contacted within 7 days please email santap@scarletalliance.org.au. Completing this form does not guarantee access to the training.

The Scarlet Alliance Peer Educator Online Training Program is fully flexible self directed learning tool. You can use the training as a resource to support your own understanding of the topics or complete all the training and assessment activities to achieve a Certificate of Completion.  Regardless of how you want to use the online training program, you can  work independently in your own time, or if you prefer a more structured or interactive style,  the training coordinator will work with you to negotiate a learning plan that can include flexible due dates, access to group learning sessions, regular check ins and more. 
The following questions will help the coordinator know how best to support you reach your learning goals.
Are you wanting to complete the training assessment activities and to achieve the Certificate of Completion *
How do you prefer to work? You can change your mind at any time.  *

  1. I prefer to work independently and will reach out if I have questions or need support: The training coordinator will only reach out to you to tell you about important updates or changes, or if you don't log in to the training for 12 months or more. You are encouraged to contact the training coordinator for support at any time.

  2. I like to work independently with occasional check-ins and reminders so I don't forget: Once you are enrolled training coordinator will check in with you every 3 months or you can negotiate a check in schedule that suits you.

  3. I would do best participating in a facilitated program with interaction with other learners: The facilitated learning program runs from February to November each year. Each month you will work through the content of one module independently and attend the monthly group learning session (2nd Tuesday of the month 3:30pm EST on zoom). At the end of the group learning session you will work in small groups with other learners to complete one of the assessments for the module. The remaining assessment activities are completed independently.  You can enroll in the facilitated program at any time throughout the year and will automatically be re enrolled the following year until all modules are completed.


Do you want to be kept informed about the optional group learning sessions on zoom?
Regardless of how you answered the previous question, all learners are welcome to attend optional group learning sessions . These are informal, enjoyable sessions held once a month on zoom. Participants have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, and experienced peer educators, and reflect on the learning content with other learners enrolled in the course.
