Join us on August 20, 2023 as we partner with 501(c)3 nonprofit Responsible Stewardship as we work together to make the region a better place to live. 

We will be doing a community litter cleanup Sunday Aug. 20, 2023 from 9AM to 12PM EST.  
MEET LOCATION: Downtown Elizabethton! 328 East Elk Ave.

Held at Riverside Taphouse, $1 off first beverage (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) right after clean-up.

This is a partnership cleanup with: Responsible Stewardship & Main Street Elizabethton
We will be going through various affected parts of Downtown Elizabethton and removing the negative impact of litter and trash. This is our way of erasing the negative impact that sometimes large crowds can bring into a small community or town. This will be a Zero Added Waste Cleanup meaning we will be using reusable gloves and reusable bags to collect the litter in, then dumping it into designated dumpsters for proper disposal. This is a FREE event and is family and pet friendly.

Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Please dress accordingly to the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

The undersigned assumes all responsibility and risks related to or in any way connected with this experience and related activities. In consideration of the State of Tennessee, the undersigned does for theirself, their heirs, executors, successors, and assigns, release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the State of Tennessee, Responsible Stewardship, Visit Johnson City, Meet the Mountains, and the City of Johnson City its employees, agents, successors, and assigns, of and from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, loss of services, expenses and compensation arising out of, on account of, related to, or in any way connected with the undersigned's participation in this experience and related activities. IN SIGNING THIS RELEASE, I ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it, and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements,
apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and I execute the release for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same. *
