As a Title I School, we must develop jointly with, agree on, and distribute to, parents of participating students a written parent engagement plan and parent compact. These will establish the school's expectations and objectives for meaningful parent and family engagement and describe how it will be implemented; therefore, we ask that you look over sections of the plans and compact and make suggestions or deletions and answer a few questions. The complete copy of each plan and compact is available on the TCHS website, Parent tab, Resource, Title I.
Please review how we currently involve parents in decisionmaking for our school.  Is there another way the school could involve parents in the planning and decisionmaking for our Title I programs?  Also,  would you be willing to participate in virtual meetings instead of face to face meetings?

TCHS wants to partner with parents so our school can be "Better Today Than Yesterday!" What obstacles may prevent parents from being involved in school activities?   Is there a way to engage parents you would suggest?

Purpose of Compact:                                                                 A School-Parent Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all students reach or exceed grade-level standards.                                             What other action(s) could parents take to ensure their students are academically successful?
