Nominations are being accepted to join the PTA Board for the 2023-2024 school year. If you
have the interest and the time, please consider joining the PTA. We are all busy parents, and
we all want the best for our students. The PTA can have a truly positive effect on its school, but
it takes the efforts of wonderful parents like you who volunteer their time and/or support PTA

President or Co-President: Shall delegate responsibilities to other PTA members and shall encourage meaningful participation in all parent and school activities.

Treasurer or Co-Treasurer: Shall be responsible for all financial affairs and funds of the association.

Recording Secretary: Shall maintain the official record(minutes) of the proceedings and actions of all association meetings.

1st Vice President: Shall be responsible for running the school store.

2nd Vice President: Shall be responsible for assisting the 1st VP and help coordinate fundraising activities.

AM and PM Hospitality: Shall prepare refreshments and foster an atmosphere of community at our meetings.

Goodwill Ambassador/Community Liaison: Shall be responsible for encouraging a positive climate between the PTA and the School Community.

Corresponding Secretary: Shall be responsible for creating, publishing and distributing all JHS 194 PTA notices and/or meeting agendas and to maintain the PTA website.
