Benjamin Hovland’s public speech "Knowledge is Power: The Role of Voter Education in Strengthening Democracy" 

Benjamin Hovland is the commissioner and the current chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, an independent agency that serves as a resource regarding election administration. Hovland's career is built on understanding and explaining U.S. law, governance, election security, and voter education. Previous positions include acting chief counsel with the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, deputy general counsel for the Missouri Secretary of State's office, and attorney with Fair Elections Legal Network.
