CASTING CALL: we are looking for families from ALL over the UK and Ireland with lots of pictures and home videos from 1970-present.
The Raw Research Casting Team (www.rawresearch.co.uk) are working with ad agency Uncommon to find families from all over the UK and Ireland with lots of pictures and home videos from 1970-present who would like a chance to take part in the next media campaign of a well-known DIY company.

We are looking for about 70 families in total, from every corner of the UK and Ireland. About 10 or so of these families be featured heavily (and perhaps might be invited to do some filming). We want to really reflect the amazing mix of cultures and traditions that can be found in the UK and Ireland, and include families from all over this country with a mix of ages, ethnicities, generations and accents.

We are really keen to find families who always have a camera or video camera at hand. We want to include all the big family moments - weddings, christenings, birthdays (with candles being added year by year), first days at school (maybe with kids in uniforms that start out too big but after a few years finally fit), anniversaries, BBQs, picnics, parties and time in the garden. There’s no such thing as too many pictures or videos!

If you and your family are selected to take part in this exciting project we will need to ask for you and every member of your family and friends (including any children)  featured in any imagery supplied to each give us their agreement for us to use their imagery and stories in our media campaign . We would also love to join you in your home and capture on film how creating your home features in your life. Our media campaign is likely to include advertising on TV and social media and may go wider to other forms of media such as, store advertising, billboards, posters, internet and on demand video channels. We may also need to verify your identity and carry out background checking. But don’t worry, all this will be explained and documented with you before we use your images and stories. At this stage we are simply asking to hear more about you, your home(s) and your life and to let us know what sorts of images and stories you might be able to share with us.
