Word war groups are only for writers who intend to regularly participate in the monthly word wars.

Even if you can only contribute a hundred words each time, we'd love to have you. Even when you're editing, you can still contribute to the word wars so long as your revisions tend to increase your word count, not decrease it. If your revisions do tend to decrease your word count and the revisions will take more than three months, it would be best if you stepped down from the word war group to make room for someone else. You'll be welcome to join back in once you have word counts to contribute.
