Next Session: Thinking Outside the Menopause BoxMeet like-minded women keen to expand their perspective and feel less alone through the menopause transition and beyond.
with Georgina Peard and Sinéad O'Loughlin
WHERE: Online
DATE: 24 April, 2024
TIME: 19h30-21h30 CEST (Central Europe)
Listening to the cultural conversation around (peri)menopause, you could easily think it’s just an endless list of symptoms, improved by hormone patches, eating more protein and lifting weights. All of which may well be supporting you! Some of us find ourselves, though, also contemplating our experiences through a wider lens. A lens that encompasses the journey of our life on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels, and incorporates a desire for an uplifting and empowering transition to the next chapter of our lives.
What if its a time to celebrate the journey so far, to fully integrate the experiences, and to prepare you for a new blossoming of your being?
Georgina and Sinead are gathering a circle of women online to open a conversation around menopause and the bigger picture. We are not claiming to be experts with all the answers. We are simply perimenopausal women, with a wealth of experience in the world of women's health, wellness and spirituality.
Our focus here is inquiry, supporting each woman to dive into her own journey and find her own way through. This is an inclusive space for deep and compassionate listening. There is no judgement or pressure around personal choices, no definitive truths, and no advice.
Let's come together and open each other's minds to the possibilities, to share experiences and support each other.
Our session will include:
· An introduction and framing of our conversation
· Introductions and agreements for our sharing circle
· Personal stories and current inquiries from Sinéad and Georgina
· Breakout sharing rooms with useful prompts
· A gathering of our ‘gifts’
· An integration practice to wind down for sleep
Who is this for? Those going through the menopause transition, or anticipating this, or integrating what they have recently experienced. Those in late reproductive stage, peri-menopause, menopause or post-menopause, whether naturally occurring or due to illness or medical intervention. The only requirement is a genuine sense of curiosity for yourself and others. No need for previous experience in Circle or to be feel well-informed about menopause.
There will be no recording of the sharing circle available.
