Open Mic for the Christ the Redeemer Fall Festival
UniteBoston is partnering with Christ the Redeemer Quincy to put on a fall festival with live music (open mic), Smiles by the Mile ice cream truck giving out free frozen treats, hot apple cider, pumpkin painting and other activities for children! The festival will be on October 16 from 2-5pm in the yard of Christ the Redeemer Quincy (136 Rawson Road).

Sign up below to participate in the open mic. You will have about 8-10 minutes each to share 2-3 songs, poems or dances. It would be great if you could also briefly share what inspired your songs / what these songs have meant to you this past year.

This is a family-friendly event, so please keep this in mind with the content that you're sharing. We also invite people from all faith backgrounds to attend and ask that you keep this in mind as we seek to point people to faith in Christ in a way that is welcoming and not condemning or disparaging. There is limited space available; we will contact you the week of the concert to confirm your participation and with more details!

Please confirm your attendance - The Fall Festival is on October 16 from 2-5pm in the yard of Christ the Redeemer Quincy (136 Rawson Road). *
Can you share a bit more about your artistic/musical background, the church you attend, and your interest in being part of this? *
Describe what you will share (i.e. song(s), dance, visual art, etc.) and what inspired this piece. *
Each artist will have 10 minutes to share. Due to the intimate "unplugged" nature of these concerts, all musicians should plan to perform acoustic/stripped-back sets. Guitars, keyboards, cajons, hand percussion and backing tracks are welcome. A sound system, microphones and audio support will be provided at each concert. Please let us know what instruments or equipment you will bring and what you need from us. *
You can bring any CD's or promotional materials; we will have a tip jar that we will split among the artists as well as a sign where you can indicate how people can follow / donate to support your work. Would you like to put anything on this table? If so, which items?
