PLEASE READ: Teen Advisory Board Requirements and Terms
The following are the requirements of those who are members of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB).
***********************************************************************************************************************************
Members of TAB must be between eleven and seventeen years of age.
TAB members must be either middle school or high school students.
Members are required to attend three meetings every year, and actively participate in active projects at that time.
TAB members must respect all other participants and their ideas.
***********************************************************************************************************************************
Members of TAB help design, implement, and promote programming for teens at Dunellen Public Library. This includes, but is not limited to, recommending and planning programming ideas, making displays in the library, and community outreach. TAB members are volunteers of the Dunellen Public Library, therefore they are credited volunteer time for their service to the community. Members are able to recieve the information regarding their volunteer time from the current Organizer of Teen Services. Time spent participating in teen activities in the library is not credited toward volunteer time. If members of TAB are interested in joining in order to meet a community service requirement, they are still responsible for attending at least three meetings and actively participating. Teens who are involved in TAB must meet all the requirements that are listed above. If they do not, they may be subject to be dismissed from all activities.
