Workshop Description: This program provides an overview of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and NJ laws and regulations related to special education. Topics will include: interventions in general education; 504 accommodations; IEPs; discipline; class size rules; dyslexia and more. Participants will discuss how special education requirements are implemented in local school districts.
