Good Grief Network: Fall 2019 Step Program for Parents
PARENTS - We know it's a scary time right now. In this uncertainty, how do we stay grounded and present enough to help our kids build resilience?  Why don't other parents want to talk about this? How do we communicate these truths to our children?

You are not alone! We're creating a "10-Step to Personal Resilience & Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate" specifically for parents, in response to past participants' strong need to connect about these questions.

Interested in participating in our 10-Step Program? We will meet once weekly for 10 weeks. We will skip weeks with major holidays. The steps provide a ritual (same format each week) and help build community. A safe space is created for folks to share what’s on their hearts and minds. While it's most beneficial to participate in all 10 weeks, you can still get something from each meeting you attend.

The Good Grief Network offers multi-modal techniques to help facilitate the metabolization of heavy feelings which have previously put activists at risk of burnout.  We provide tools and an encouraging community that helps prevent activism fatigue and burn out. These tools are necessary for anyone looking to sustain themselves for the long haul.

By appealing to our brains with research and resources, we open the door for more heart-centered work. We provide a gateway to practice opening and trusting our hearts, to transcend fear and re-establish connections. This creates a foundation of resilience and strength to show up outwardly as activists and advocates. Note: you do not need to identify as an activist to participate.

Tentative start date: October 6th, 6:30pm MST/8:30pm EST.

Sign up now if you're interested, and we'll email with more details soon.
