Ophelia the Octopus Crochet Pattern Test Application
🐙 Thanks for taking the plunge and showing interest in testing the Ophelia the Octopus crochet pattern!

The test will run from June 19 to July 2, you will be contacted with the pattern PDF and discord server invite on June 18th.

Pattern Notes:
This is a fun and addicting pattern! It begins with a magic ring, and you increase in the round to create the main body. Then the ruffly tentacles are added by doing a row of back loop only and then working into the front loop left behind. Then we use invisible decreases, add safety eyes, fill with stuffing, decrease to close up the bottom and add a little embroidered smile - feel free to add different facial expressions and get creative with eyebrows if you'd like!

Techniques:
- magic ring
- chains
- single crochets
- double crochets
- slip stitches
- increases
- invisible decreases

Sizes:
One size, adjustable with yarn and hook sizes.

We'd be happy to see you work up this pattern in a variety of yarn weights.

Communication:
Once the test begins, testers will be invited to a Discord server where everyone can share yarn choices, progress photos, and feedback. Alternatively, you can always email your feedback.

Yarn:
We have made these in DK and sock weight so far, as long as your hook matches your yarn weight, you can make this pattern in any weight you'd like.

Gauge:
Not important for this project.

Compensation: Everyone who completes the test will receive a free copy of the finished pattern, as well as a code for any other pattern for free from our shop!
