Next Residency Call: Deep Winter 2024 - 'The Unforeseen' - Applications accepted 9/30 - 10/31/23
The Hundredth Hill encourages writers of all skill levels and genres to apply: poets, songwriters, novelists, screenwriters, essayists, playwrights, academics... Our Deep Winter mission is to provide a catalyst for writers to focus without distraction, and find renewed spark and inspiration in the process. Every application is considered in an inclusive and holistic process. The Deep Winter 2024 Writing Residencies take place January - February, for periods of 3 to 7 days, depending on desire and availability of writers. Fully sponsored awardees will have private residences including full baths & kitchenettes. Award does not include travel nor meal expense. Writers will be notified of awards via email on November 5th.

Residency dates are determined in a matching process by the art form/genre of your work and other details of your application. We attempt to match residents with other artists for the most enriching and best possible experience. Check all genre(s) that apply:

Residents are required to provide and prepare their own food while at The Hundredth Hill, and each residence is equipped with kitchenette and basic pantry supplies, however a group event and/or meal may occur during your state. For your safety and comfort, we ask that you detail your dietary preferences and any food allergies.
